Not just because they have a flagrant disregard for learning, and is a huge distraction to learning (good luck learning anything after pink bubbles cover every lab surface, or an etheral singing emerges from the cauldron) but because seriously, how on earth did they do that. Snape may spend more time than the Weasley's twins are in detention reverse engineering each of their concoctions.

Minerva frowns. This is the sixth first year to approach her about potions class. Alfred had a panic attack, Julie fainted, Adamonius has not talked since the first potions class. And its the first week of the school year. Perhaps... Minerva had hoped that Snape's apprentice, the halfblood girl would be able to audit her class this year, but well some Transfiguration was better than none. And really what else was an apprentice for if not foisting responsibility unsuited to the master. Minerva had a proposal to write.

And Irina will admit that the sunblock cream was ridiculously useful.

This occurs several years from now, and Harry and Kasten give each other gifts every christmas.
